    Job description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Gym Manager to oversee daily operations at our Snap Fitness gym to open in Bridgewater! The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, exceptional organisational abilities, and excellent communication skills. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, enhance member satisfaction, and contribute to the growth of our facility. The Gym Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of the centre, maintaining high standards of service, and driving sales and retention programmes. Fluency in multiple languages is highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele. What We're Looking For: We’re after someone who is motivated, people-focused, and commercially minded. Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the gym, including staff supervision and member engagement Lead and motivate a team of fitness instructors, receptionists, and support staff Oversee sales management activities such as membership renewals, new sign-ups, and promotional campaigns Ensure high standards of customer service through effective communication and phone etiquette Organise merchandising activities within the centre to promote products and services Implement organisational strategies to optimise utilisation of gym facilities and resources Monitor health and safety compliance, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations Handle administrative tasks including scheduling, reporting, and maintaining member records Develop and execute marketing initiatives to attract new members and retain existing clients Conduct regular team meetings to foster a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement Be as involved in the awareness and Pre sale stage as possible- create the atmosphere of your community! Qualifications Proven management or supervisory experience within a retail or fitness environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks Effective communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous Experience in sales management and merchandising strategies Proficient in time management with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently Demonstrated ability in customer service excellence and phone etiquette Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to fitness centres is preferred Previous experience in retail management or similar roles will be considered an asset This position offers an engaging environment for a motivated individual eager to lead a vibrant team while delivering outstanding service to our members.
