Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to play a key role in expanding our client portfolio and developing new commercial opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new markets and business opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, negotiating commercial arrangements and contributing to the company's long-term growth strategy. This position requires substantial business development experience, strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage professional relationships independently. Key Duties and Responsibilities • Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company objectives, • Identify, evaluate and pursue new business and market opportunities, • Generate and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients, • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and business partners, • Lead commercial discussions and negotiate terms with prospective clients and partners, • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify potential areas for growth, • Prepare professional business proposals, presentations and commercial documentation, • Develop strategies to increase client acquisition, retention and revenue, • Identify opportunities to expand existing services and enter new markets, • Establish and monitor business development targets and performance indicators, • Analyse business development performance and prepare reports for senior management, • Work closely with HR, Accounts and Administration teams to ensure effective delivery of new business, • Represent the company at professional meetings, networking events and business engagements Essential Skills and Experience • Minimum 3 years' relevant professional experience in business development, commercial management, sales management or a comparable role, • Proven experience in generating new business and developing commercial relationships, • Strong negotiation and client relationship management skills, • Experience preparing business proposals and presenting commercial opportunities, • Strong analytical, strategic and problem-solving abilities, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently, • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems and business reporting tools Qualifications A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Management, Marketing, Finance, Economics or a related discipline is preferred. Candidates with substantial relevant professional experience will also be considered. Desirable Experience Experience within business consultancy, professional services, accountancy, HR, B2B services, education or training would be advantageous. About You • Experience in finance, accounts, bookkeeping or financial administration., • Strong numerical ability and attention to detail., • Confident using Excel and Google Sheets., • Highly organised, proactive and able to work independently., • Excellent written and verbal communication., • Trustworthy and comfortable handling financial information., • Property, hospitality or short-term rental experience is advantageous., • Airbnb, Booking.com or Guesty experience is advantageous but not essential.
