We are a long-established UK manufacturer of heat sealing machinery, recently expanding into a new site in Fareham. With a proud history of British engineering and a drive to modernise and grow, we are looking for a skilled Assembly Engineer to join our team. The Role As an Assembly Engineer, you will be hands-on in building, assembling, and testing our range of specialist heat sealing machines. You’ll work with precision engineering components, electrical systems, and pneumatic assemblies to produce high-quality equipment for customers across industries including food, medical, and packaging. Responsibilities • Mechanical and electrical assembly of heat sealing machines, • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and assembly instructions, • Wiring, fitting, and testing components, • Working to tight tolerances with high attention to detail, • Ensuring machines are built to ISO quality standards, • Supporting continuous improvement in design and production processes, • Assisting with servicing and repairs when required About You • Background in mechanical/electrical assembly or engineering, • Able to read technical drawings and schematics, • Experience with small component assembly, wiring, or pneumatics (preferred), • Hands-on, practical approach with strong problem-solving skills, • Excellent attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship, • Flexible and able to adapt in a growing business environment What We Offer • Competitive salary (dependent on experience), • Full-time permanent role at our new Fareham site, • Opportunity to be part of a growing engineering business with strong career prospects, • Training and development in specialist machinery assembly, • Supportive, friendly working environment If you’re a practical engineer who enjoys building high-quality machinery and wants to join a company investing in innovation and growth, we’d love to hear from you!
