Operations Manager West Yorkshire Full-time | Flexible shifts Working hours: Any 5 days out of 7, operating between 06:00–22:00 Salary: £37.477 per annum An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to join our growing team in West Yorkshire. This is a key leadership role within a fast-paced, multi-customer operation where you’ll take full ownership of customer contracts, people performance, and operational excellence. What you’ll be responsible for • Managing customer contracts from stock receipt through to dispatch across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce, • Acting as the main point of contact for customers on operational performance, processes, and costs, • Leading and motivating operational teams, ensuring labour is controlled within budget, • Delivering agreed KPIs and SLAs across all activities, • Producing accurate and timely customer service and performance reports, • Building strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders, • Training, developing, and supporting managers and teams, • Implementing new processes, policies, and customer initiatives, • Playing an active role in the site management team and supporting other contracts when required What we’re looking for • Proven experience in an Operations Manager role within a multi-customer environment, • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams, • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), • Good numeracy and commercial awareness, • Solid understanding of health & safety regulations and basic employment law, • Confident IT skills (Microsoft Office and warehouse systems), • A proactive, innovative, and solution-focused mindset, • Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to changing priorities, • Flexible approach to work, including shift patterns For more information please get in touch.
