Assistant Store Manager – Luxury Retail Location: Plymouth, Devon Job Type: Full-time Salary: Competitive, discussed at interview Assistant Manager – Plymouth | Family-Owned Boutique Retail Are you an experienced retail supervisor or assistant manager looking to step into a premium, consultative retail environment? We’re recruiting an Assistant Manager to join a well-established, family-owned boutique jeweller in Plymouth. This is a rare opportunity to work in a supportive, hands-on environment where your sales, leadership, and customer skills can make a real impact. Full JET Jewellery Training is provided, making this an excellent step for those looking to move into the luxury jewellery sector. What You’ll Be Doing • Support the Store Manager with daily store operations, • Lead from the front on the shop floor and drive personal sales performance, • Motivate and coach your team to achieve sales targets and KPIs, • Deliver exceptional, relationship-led customer service, • Maintain high visual merchandising and operational standards, • Assist with stock control, security, and accurate stock management, • Support rota planning, including weekend cover About You • Experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor, or Senior Sales Advisor, • Background in retail: luxury, premium, fashion, beauty, accessories, or jewellery, • Strong personal sales record and KPI experience, • Confident leading by example on the shop floor, • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and developing a team, • Hands-on, professional, and customer-focused We welcome candidates looking to transition into jewellery from other premium retail sectors, your sales and leadership experience is what matters most.
