Role Overview Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant and Group Finance Director, you will support financial performance reporting and management accounts across the business. You will help maintain strong financial controls while providing insight into manufacturing performance, stock, and costing. This is a hands-on role involving balance sheet control, operational business partnering, and continuous improvement initiatives. What You'll Be Doing Preparing monthly management accounts including detailed variance analysis and commentary Maintaining the fixed asset register and ensuring accuracy and compliance Preparing accruals and prepayments in line with accounting standards Supporting debtor ledger reviews and resolving discrepancies Verifying landed costs for foreign imports including shipping, duty and VAT Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns Performing balance sheet reconciliations and managing intercompany balances Supporting customer and supplier returns processes to ensure accurate accounting treatment Monitoring stock movements and ensuring accurate inventory valuation Analysing manufacturing costs and margins, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions Assisting with internal and external audits Partnering with production, procurement and supply chain teams to provide financial guidance Supporting continuous improvement projects focused on cost control and efficiency gains Mentoring junior team members and delivering ad hoc financial analysis What We're Looking For Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or QBE Experience within manufacturing finance, including stock accounting and standard costing Practical ERP systems experience Strong understanding of balance sheet control, accruals, and prepayments Ability to implement and maintain effective financial controls Strong analytical and communication skills with a collaborative approach Organised with good time management and strong IT skills, including Microsoft applications What We Can Offer Competitive salary between £47,000 - £50,000 per Life insurance cover Cashback healthcare plan Employee discounts on products On-site parking and gym facilities TPBN1_UKTJ
