Salaried GP Opportunity Join a Dynamic Urban & Rural Training Practice We are a thriving, dual-site urban and rural training practice, due to retirement we are, seeking a dedicated Salaried GP to join our supportive and forward-thinking team. You will be working with experienced GP's with a wide variety of interests Location: Kingswinford and Kinver with sites in both urban and rural settings Position: Salaried General Practitioner Sessions: 4-6 Salary: Competitive and negotiable based on experience Start Date: Flexible What Were Looking For: • GMC registered with a valid license to practise, • Inclusion on the NHS Performers List, • Passion for providing high-quality, patient-centred care, • Interest in education, teaching, or specialist clinical areas welcomed, • Team player with a proactive and positive approach, • Full driving licence, • To undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone/video consultations. Accurx consultations, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion. Be part of the on call rota., • Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare workers within the organisation, using current clinical guidelines, NICE/health pathways guidance, • Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems, • Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness, • In consultation with patients and in line with current Practice disease management protocols, developing care plans for health, • Providing counselling and health education, • Admitting or discharging patients to and from the caseload and referring to other care providers as appropriate, • Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards, • Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions (avoiding hand-written prescriptions whenever possible), • Prescribing in accordance with the Practice prescribing formulary (or generically) whenever this is clinically appropriate, • Attendance at Clinical and Salaried GP meetings About Our Practice: • CQC-rated good, training practice with GPSTs., • Two sites: one urban, one rural offering a varied and stimulating clinical caseload, • Strong multidisciplinary team including ANPs, pharmacists, paramedics, mental health support and first contact physio, • High QOF achievement and excellent patient feedback, • EMIS Web system and digital-first approach, • Protected time for CPD, training, and team development Regular clinical and salaried doctors meetings.
