Corporate Ethics within Defra primarily focuses on managing conflicts of interest and ensuring compliance with relevant governance frameworks. This includes oversight of processes for staff currently in post, as well as those exiting the organisation. In addition, the role supports Defra’s commitment to the transparency agenda, which requires the publication of data for senior staff in line with government standards.
