Registered Manager (Children’s Residential) Locations: Stone, Tutbury and Eccleshall (Staffordshire) Salary: From £50,000 + 10% bonus (paid quarterly) Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm with on-call duties (1 in 9) About the Role We are recruiting for three Registered Managers, each to lead a residential children’s home in Stone, Tutbury, and Eccleshall. Why Join • Salary from £50,000 plus quarterly bonus, • 41 days annual leave (including bank holidays and service accrual), • 1 in 9 on-call rota supporting work-life balance, • 11 established homes rated Good, • Strong, supportive senior leadership team, • Regular leadership and development meetings, • In-house therapeutic support for staff and young people Key Responsibilities • Manage a residential children’s home in line with legislation and company standards, • Deliver high-quality, trauma-informed care, • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people, • Develop and implement care and service development plans, • Lead, support, and develop staff teams, • Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Care Standards Act 2000, • Manage rotas, staffing, and performance standards, • Work with external agencies and stakeholders, • Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections About You • Experienced leader within a children’s residential setting, • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and childcare legislation, • Proven ability to manage and develop teams, • Strong communication and report writing skills, • Committed to improving outcomes for young people Requirements • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards), • Senior experience within a children’s residential home, • Sound knowledge of Children Act 1989 and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, • Full UK driving licence preferred
