Role Overview: As part of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplined maintenance team in the delivery of the short and long-term planning and management of the engineering operations for the cluster properties across both the front and back of house. You will ensure an efficient and economic running of the engineering disciplines, supplying services as required to the entire operation and maintaining equipment, building and utility services in optimum condition. This role will include operational cluster shift coverage across a seven-day senior duty management rota and working between properties on a rotational / rota basis. Main Responsibilities: • Lead the planning, scheduling and delivery of all preventative and reactive maintenance programmes across accommodation, public areas, and mechanical and electrical plant systems., • Develop and implement annual operating expenditure (OPEX), capital expenditure (CAPEX), repair and refurbishment plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget., • Monitor and control maintenance consumable costs, aligning expenditure with departmental budgets and revenue performance., • Drive product quality standards and property upkeep through regular performance reviews, strategy meetings and continuous improvement initiatives., • Oversee the implementation, utilisation and ongoing development of the Engineering Management System (CAFM/Synergy) to support operational efficiency and compliance., • Ensure the achievement of maintenance-related guest satisfaction targets, maintaining exceptional standards of presentation, functionality and attention to detail throughout the property., • Lead health, safety, compliance and building security activities, ensuring all statutory requirements, audits and inspections are successfully achieved., • Produce business cases and cost-benefit analyses to support capital investment decisions and operational improvements., • Develop, coach and engage the engineering team through regular training, briefings and performance management to maximise productivity and service quality., • Collaborate with hotel leadership, operational teams and external stakeholders to deliver strategic objectives, support community initiatives and promote apprenticeship and talent development programmes. About you: As Cluster Maintenance Manager, you will show initiative, be able to prioritise your work load and have an organised and methodical approach to your work. You will have excellent understanding of Health and Safety in the work place plus a good understanding of legal compliance and record keeping. This role is based across our London Cluster and you will support other Lead Engineers with in the wider cluster..
