Our client is seeking an Employment Associate or Senior Associate with 3–10 years’ post-qualification experience to join their award-winning employment practice. This is an excellent opportunity to become a key member of a high-performing team advising on a wide range of high-profile and complex employment matters across the UK and internationally. Responsibilities Contentious Employment Manage a broad caseload of Employment Tribunal litigation, including: • Discrimination, • Whistleblowing, • Unfair dismissal, • Contractual disputes, • Injunction-related matters, • Lead and support High Court litigation involving team moves, restrictive covenants, confidentiality, and injunction work., • Draft pleadings, witness statements, settlement agreements, and litigation strategy documents., • Prepare for and attend mediations, hearings, and trials. Advisory & Corporate Support Advise clients on a wide spectrum of employment issues, including: • Employee relations, • Termination of employment, • Data protection, • Outsourcing and corporate transactions, • Confidentiality and protection of business interests, • Provide guidance on internal investigations, disciplinary processes, grievance matters, and whistleblowing concerns., • Work closely with the corporate team on transactional support - conducting due diligence, drafting warranties and indemnities, and assisting with post-completion integration., • Deliver client training, workshops, and thought-leadership content on emerging employment law developments. Client Engagement & Business Development • Build and maintain strong client relationships across sectors such as financial services, technology, retail, energy, and professional services., • Act as a trusted adviser, providing pragmatic, commercially focused solutions aligned with client objectives., • Contribute to pitches, tender processes, and broader business development initiatives with Partners., • Participate in sector groups, marketing activities, and thought-leadership campaigns. About You Essential • Qualified Solicitor., • Minimum of three years’ PQE in a recognised employment practice., • Strong experience across both contentious and advisory employment work., • Proven ability to manage high-value, complex litigation through to hearings., • Solid understanding of TUPE, redundancy processes, employee relations, and corporate support matters. Desirable • Experience within a large national/international firm or top-tier boutique., • Proven capability in advising HR teams, in-house counsel, and senior leadership., • Experience managing cross-jurisdictional matters or international employment projects.
