Tradewind Recruitment are supporting one of their partnership Alternative Provisions in Swadlincote to recruit for dedicated, approachable and lively Teaching Assistants. This is a wonderful, dedicated Alternative Provision which is part of a successful trust but holds a community feel within the local area. The school has a wonderful reputation in the area with parents and is a school regularly requested by supply staff to return to. The Role: • Provide 1:1 support for your assigned pupils, • Be confident to support SEND, including ASD, ADHD, Emotional Dysregulation, • Support learning, emotional regulation, and social development, • Work alongside class teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCP target and support plan, • Adapt learning resources to meet individual needs of the child, • Monday to Wednesday - 08:10 to 15:50, • Thursday - 08:10 to 16:20, • Holds at least a Level 1 Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 desirable), • Has previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within SEND or inclusion, • Confident supporting pupils with additional needs in a mainstream primary setting, • Patient, empathetic, and committed to pupil progress and wellbeing, • Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply), • Strong partnerships with inclusive primary schools across Nottinghamshire, • Competitive daily pay, paid weekly, • Free access to 2,500+ CPD-accredited courses through The National College Apply now with your updated CV to be considered! #INDNOTTS
