They will be responsible for generating new client relationships, identifying opportunities for growth, and delivering value-driven Fire & Security solutions. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who thrives on building a pipeline of opportunities and achieving ambitious targets.\n\nHSB Technical’s client is an established and highly respected Fire & Security systems provider.\n\nDuties and responsibilities of the New Business Development Manager – Fire & Security:\n\n• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the Fire & Security sector\n\n• Build and develop strong relationships with prospective clients, including end users, facilities management companies, M&E contractors, consultants, and specifiers\n\n• Promote Fire & Security solutions, including Fire Detection & Alarm Systems, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm Systems, and integrated solutions\n\n• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and tenders to win new business\n\n• Maintain CRM data, sales forecasts, and pipeline reporting\n\n• Collaborate with internal technical and operational teams to ensure smooth project delivery for new clients\n\n• Stay informed on industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies to provide market-leading solutions\n\nQualifications and requirements for the New Business Development Manager – Fire & Security:\n\n• Proven experience in new business development or sales within the Fire & Security sector\n\n• Strong technical understanding of Fire and/or Electronic Security systems\n\n• Demonstrable success in generating new business and achieving targets\n\n• Established contacts within Hertfordshire & Home Counties advantageous\n\n• Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills\n\n• Self-motivated, organised, and results-driven\n\nThis vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical Ltd who have been appointed to act as a recruitment partner for this role
