Staffpower Group are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-known manufacturing company based in Kirbymoorside. We are seeking an experienced PCB Test and Repair Engineer to play a key role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and quality of Printed Circuit Boards. This position involves detailed testing, diagnosing, and repairing at component level, as well as precision rework and close collaboration with engineering and production teams to support continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Perform functional and in-circuit testing using ATE, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment. Analyse test results to identify faults and verify compliance with specifications. Develop and execute test plans and procedures. Diagnose and repair faults in SMD, through-hole, and multi-layer PCBs. Carry out precision rework, including soldering, desoldering, and component replacement. Maintain accurate records of test results, repairs, and modifications. Essential Skills & Experience Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and PCB layouts (Gerber files, BOMs). Excellent soldering and rework skills, including fine-pitch SMD work. Hands-on experience with PCB assembly, testing, and fault-finding. Proficiency with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters. Qualification in Electronics/Electrical discipline or equivalent experience.
