Job title: Head Chef / Senior Sous Chef - Authentic Italian Restaurant Location: Budleigh Salterton, Devon Salary: Up to £35,000 per year depending on experience, plus tips Job type: Full-time, permanent Schedule: 5 days per week, including evenings and weekends About us: Marcos Italian is an independent Italian restaurant in Budleigh Salterton, Devon, serving proper Italian food in a busy, customer-focused environment. We are looking for a strong Head Chef or experienced Senior Sous Chef with a good understanding of Italian cuisine. Experience with fresh pasta, pizza, sauces, meat, fish, seafood, and traditional Italian dishes would be a strong advantage. This is an important role within the business. We need someone who can support the owner-chef, help maintain standards, and confidently run the kitchen when the owner is not on site. This is not a basic line cook role. We are looking for someone reliable, organised, clean, calm under pressure, and capable of taking responsibility.
