At Momenta Connect, we offer an introduction to paediatrics program that supports with specific teaching and professional development goals within the skill areas required to work in Paediatric Occupational Therapy. We focus on upskilling in education and clinical settings, providing tailored training sessions in specific learning areas such as fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, handwriting, paediatric assessments such as Movement ABC, BOT, Beery VMI, and many more! At the end of your first year, you will have the tools to be an independent paediatric practitioner within school and/ or clinical settings with clinical supervision support along the way to further support your clinical and professional development.Job Title: Occupational TherapistLocation: Croydon, LondonSalary: Up to £50,000 FTE, dependent on experienceHours: 37.5 hours per week, with flexible working across 5 days (Monday to Friday)Contract: Permanent, with 52-week, summer contract and part-time options available. As an Occupational Therapist, youll help unlock children and young peoples potential by assessing EHCP-related needs, delivering specialist interventions and supporting therapy goals to become part of everyday life.In this role, youll:Assess children and young peoples developmental and learning needs, including those linked to Education, Health and Care Plans.Develop, deliver and review individualised occupational therapy intervention plans.Work with parents, carers, teaching teams and multi-disciplinary colleagues to embed therapy goals into daily life.Equip key adults with practical strategies, evaluate impact, maintain accurate documentation and contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings.Its a varied role where youll balance assessment, intervention, consultation and collaboration, while making a visible difference to children, families and school teams every day.What youll needHCPC and RCOT registrationUndergraduate or Masters degree in Occupational TherapyIt would be great if you also bringPaediatric occupational therapy experience, ideally in school-based or specialist settingsExperience completing assessments for Education, Health and Care PlansExperience supporting children and young people with SEMH, complex or developmental needsSpecialist CPD, trauma-informed practice or other relevant trainingReady to join us?If youre ready to build your career in a supportive, forward-thinking clinical team, wed love to hear from you.For more information about this role please refer to the Job Description and Job Pack.Momenta Connect is committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare .
