Overview and Responsibilities Teacher – Primary Location: Smallfield, SurreyContract: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £34,398 - £48,913 per year (M1 – UPS1 Fringe) ** Plus £5,000 Welcome bonus For Qualified Teacher*Hours: 40 hours per week - Term Time only - Start time 8.15am - Finish time Monday/Wednesday/Thursday 4.45pm. Tuesday 5pm and Friday 4pm Start date: As soon as possible Aurora Redehall School, Smallfield, Surrey Part of the Aurora Group Aurora Redehall School supports pupils aged 6–11 with communication difficulties linked to Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). We’re seeking a passionate Primary Teacher to join our speech, language and communication needs class, the students in this class have a higher level of speech and communication needs. You will be delivering high quality teaching and learning. Although Aurora Redehall is a primary school, many of the students are working at least 2 academic years behind their chronological age, so this position would suit an EYFS teacher. Key Duties: You will be accountable to the school leadership team, below are some of the key duties you will be expected to carry out: • Deliver and develop curriculum plans that meet students’ educational, physical, and social needs., • Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team., • Set, monitor, and review personalised learning targets., • Assess, track, and report student progress to stakeholders in line with school policies., • Create structured, engaging lessons with clear objectives and challenge., • Contribute to reviews of Statements, EHC plans, PEPs, and LAC meetings., • Stay informed on autism-related developments to support effective teaching.
