The Priory Highbank Centre is a 19 bedded facility for Neuro-rehabilitation and complex neuro-disability. Service users are referred mainly from NHS funders across the country for slow stream neuro rehabilitation or specialist assessments like PDoC assessments by experienced clinicians. The team also manages those people with complex tracheostomy and/or mechanical ventilation for specialist assessments or slow stream neuro-rehabilitation. This is a varied role combining workshop-based inspection with travel to customer sites across the UK. You’ll be responsible for inspecting, testing and repairing specialist electrical and safety equipment, ensuring it meets the required safety, quality and legislative standards before being certified for continued use. You’ll be working with equipment including HV and LV portable earthing equipment, overhead line earthing equipment, fibreglass rods, fall protection equipment and equipment manufactured from rope or webbing.
