Administrator – Construction Project (Bridgwater) A well-established commercial contractor, delivering new-build, fit-out, and refurbishment projects across the South of England, is seeking an experienced Administrator to support a key project in Bridgwater. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable organisation with strong expertise in specialist industrial environments. Key Responsibilities • Manage onboarding and vetting of site operatives through workforce management systems, including leavers, rehires, and transfers, • Support supply chain partners with training, onboarding processes, and compliance requirements, • Monitor applications and operative status, ensuring all compliance documentation is accurately recorded and securely stored, • Collate and maintain audit evidence in line with compliance frameworks, • Coordinate medicals, drug & alcohol testing, and maintain confidential records, • Arrange site inductions, refresher sessions, and client-required behavioural safety training, • Process requests for temporary workers, visitors, and urgent operational needs, • Organise site delivery bookings via client systems and communicate effectively with stakeholders, • Attend project meetings, assist with forecasting, and provide administrative support, • Take meeting minutes and maintain organised records of documentation, • Act as a professional point of contact for internal teams, external stakeholders, and site visitors Requirements • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail, • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • Professional discretion and ability to handle confidential information, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), • Willingness to learn and use bespoke systems, • Full UK driving licence or reliable transport, • Ability to pass relevant vetting and testing requirements What’s on Offer • Competitive salary, • Monday to Friday working hours (07:30 – 16:00), • Additional annual leave based on length of service, • Birthday leave, • Cycle-to-work and vehicle benefit schemes, • Healthcare cash plan with retail discounts, • 24/7 GP access, • Employee Assistance Programme for wellbeing support, • Referral bonus scheme, • Life assurance benefit, • Option to buy or sell annual leave
