Thames Water is seeking a Technical Training Consultant to support the design, delivery, and continual improvement of our Operational Technical and Health & Safety training. What you’ll be doing as a Technical Training Consultant In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our clean water employees and contractors have the knowledge, skills and competencies to work safely, effectively, and in line with internal standards and external regulations. • Deliver high-quality Operational, Technical and Health & Safety training with consistent standards and strong learner engagement., • Promote strong learner engagement through effective facilitation techniques., • Use digital systems to record learner competence and explore new, effective delivery methods., • Review, update and maintain existing training content in line with changes to processes, legislation or equipment to keep training current., • Explore alternative delivery mediums and collaborate with Design Studio, H&S, Operations and L&D teams to enhance learning experiences., • Maintain active proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, Viva Engage and other communication tools., • Work closely with stakeholders to understand needs, gather feedback, and support competency development as a subject matter expert, • Visit operational sites to observe training applied in practice, identifying opportunities for improvement, • Work closely with the wider Field Ops training team to upskill and support the delivery of clean networks and H&S training., • As a Technical Training Consultant, you will be expected to deliver training across the whole Thames Water geographical area, so travel is a reasonable expectation of the role. Base location: Hybrid - Wraysbury, Staines - TW19 5NR Working hours: 36 hours, Monday to Friday What you should bring to the role • Experience delivering training, with a minimum Level 3 training qualification or equivalent technical experience., • · Experience working within the clean water production and supply industry- water production/network qualifications are beneficial., • A genuine passion for sharing knowledge and supporting learner development., • Strong communication, engagement, and relationship-building skills., • A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement., • IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications (desirable)., • Comfortable travelling across the Thames Water region., • Full driving licence is required. The HR Advisor will sit in the People Operations team, reporting to the Employee Relations Lead who has overall responsibility for the central Advisory function. You will work alongside 2 other HR Advisors and a HR Coordinator who support HR Business Partners. The HR Business Partnering and Advisory Team look after circa 1600 employees and partner colleagues. Role And Responsibilities Your key responsibilities • Facilitate and manage the employee lifecycle processes in partnership with People Team Centres of Excellence, supporting respective Business Partner and People Managers., • Own end to end Employee Relations Case Management Processes including absence management, performance management, disciplinary, grievances & investigations, flexible working and sickness absence - working closely with line managers and with BP/ER Manager as point of escalation – with a focus on fairness, consistency and adherence to policy timeline., • Interpret and guide Business Areas on People Policies and make recommendations to evolve where necessary to accommodate change in employment legislation and landscape., • Drive pre-approval processes to expedite pace. For example Recruitment front-end activity working directly with the Hiring Manager and Recruitment Partner., • Write and review documents requiring signature and gain approval in conjunction with BP. For example change to T&C, reporting line etc., • Handle general queries from COE partner in relation to business area and ensure workday organisational structure is up to date., • Support the HRBP’s with business change programmes such as re-organisations and consultations, running consultation processes where appropriate. Lead Technical Event Producer (Global Broadcast & Live Production) • Salary: £97,000, • Location: Hybrid, Staines (2–3 days per week), • Contract Length: 12 months, with potential to extend or go permanent We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Technical Event Producer to support executive-level and large-scale live events across EMEA and international regions. This position sits at the core of broadcast-grade event delivery, combining hands-on operating, live production management, and end-to-end technical ownership. You will lead the technical build, delivery, and operation of digital, hybrid and in-person productions, including livestreams, vMix switching, multi-camera setups, lighting, audio, fibre workflows, and full AV infrastructure. You must be able to walk into a venue with prebuilt systems or build an entire setup from the ground up — sound, lighting, internet, cameras, switching, and connectivity. This role supports senior executive events and requires an individual who can operate confidently at both a technical and leadership level. You will manage technical workflows, oversee £500k budgets, coordinate resources, travel internationally, and ensure broadcast-quality output.
