Business Change Manager - Band C - Change - Counter Terrorism Policing HQ Salary: The starting salary is £48,995, which includes allowances totalling £3,009. The salary is broken down as £45,986 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £54,863. Plus, a location allowance of £2,009 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000. The Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) Business Change Team has an exciting opportunity to help deliver our portfolio of change across the CTP network. Joining our rapidly growing Business Change team, we’re looking for a Business Change Manager to help our business understand, prepare, adopt and embed highly complex and diverse change. It’s your chance to play a part in a challenge that’s as important as it gets: protecting the UK and its communities. We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic team member with some experience in managing change. You will join the team and be responsible for the day-to-day management and application of the Business Change framework, tools and methodology to implement sustainable change across the national Counter Terrorism Policing Network. You will have a varied role, where no two days are the same. You will join the team with a broad understanding of change management, and with support from the team will become a specialist in your field. You will work as part of a busy team, supporting the Business Change Leads in delivering our change portfolio and working closely with our change network and stakeholders. To be successful in this role you will have: • An understanding of the principles of change management or transferrable skills., • The ability to use information to assess how change is landing and assess risks and blockers, supporting effective decision-making., • The ability to provide effective challenge to interested parties, • Good planning and organisational skills, with the ability to meet demanding deadlines in a pressured environment., • Good interpersonal and facilitation skills, • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, across all levels including stakeholder engagement skills., • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team., • Self-starter, confident and capable of working both independently and collaboratively to tight deadlines with plenty of initiative., • Applying established change management methodologies (for example, Prosci, APMG Change Management/Agent etc.) How to apply To begin your career at the Met, please click the apply button “.
