Experienced Water Hygiene Engineer Wanted East London Area Are you anexperienced Water Hygiene Engineer / Technicianlooking for a stable, full-time role with a professional and growing company?Orion Building Engineering Services Ltdis expanding, and we are looking for asuitably qualified Water Hygiene Engineerto join our team, coveringEast London and surrounding areas.This is a great opportunity for someone who already has solid water hygiene experience and is confident carrying out works such astemperature monitoring, sampling, TMV servicing, shower descales, tank cleans, disinfections and compliance reporting.You will be trusted to represent Orion on client sites, so we are looking for someone who isreliable, professional, organised and confident when dealing with clients.Applicants must have previous water hygiene experience, relevant training or qualifications, a clean UK driving licence, and be able to drive a manual vehicle.Ideally, you will be based in or nearEast Londondue to the travel requirements of the role.Salary: £30,000 £32,000 depending on experienceHours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per weekTravel: Site-based role with daily travelVehicle: Company vehicle and fuel card providedKey Responsibilities As a Water Hygiene Engineer / Technician, your responsibilities will include:Carrying out water hygiene monitoring and control worksTemperature monitoring, flushing and samplingTMV servicing and maintenanceShower head and hose descalesChemical descaling worksTank cleans and disinfectionsCalorifier / hot water cylinder servicingCalorifier cleaning and descalingExpansion vessel servicingCompleting site reports using PDA / compliance systemsMaking recommendations following service visitsEnsuring works are completed in line withACOP L8, HSG 274 and LCA standardsProviding excellent service and maintaining positive client relationshipsSkills, Experience and Qualifications Required Applicantsmust have:Previous experience in water hygiene engineeringAt least 2 years experience in a relevant water hygiene roleSuitable water hygiene training, knowledge or qualificationsA good basic understanding ofACOP L8 and HSG 274 Parts 1, 2 and 3Experience with TMVs, sampling, temperature monitoring, descales and disinfection worksGood communication skills and a professional approach with clientsGood computer skills and the ability to use PDA / compliance reporting systemsA positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to work independentlyClean UK driving licenceAbility to drive a manual vehicleClean DBS recordLegionella Awareness Training and City & Guilds water industry qualifications are desirable.This is an excellent opportunity for anexperienced Water Hygiene Engineer / Technicianwho is looking to join a professional, supportive and growing company.TPBN1_UKTJ
