IMMEDIATE START Job Purpose: To contact supermarkets across assigned regions to gather accurate, up-to-date information required for scheduling charity fundraising bookings and entering data into the company portal. The role supports the weekly planning of face-to-face fundraising activities by liaising closely with Booking Coordinators to understand regional requirements, ensure availability, and secure suitable opportunities for fundraisers. Key Responsibilities 1. Supermarket Outreach & Data Collection Make outbound calls to supermarkets on behalf of partnered charities to: Confirm store availability for face-to-face fundraising Obtain or update manager contact details Check permission status and store-specific guidelines Identify peak trading times, restrictions, or preferred fundraising areas Record and verify all collected information accurately in the company portal. 2. Weekly Coordination with Booking Team Work closely with Booking Coordinators to determine weekly charity booking needs per region. Understand fundraising campaign priorities, charity requirements, and deadlines. Provide coordinators with real-time updates on store availability and any issues affecting booking plans. Support the fulfilment of weekly regional fundraising targets by identifying the best stores for fundraisers. 3. Reporting & Issue Resolution Send daily reports to the Booking Team on: Live stores awaiting action No-go stores Any updates or changes affecting the booking process Deal with any issues arising in a timely and proactive manner, ensuring minimal disruption to charity fundraising schedules. 4. Communication & Liaison Maintain professional, positive communication with supermarket staff and managers. Build strong working relationships to support ongoing charity fundraising partnerships. Share relevant feedback from stores with the Booking Team to enhance planning and operations. Participate in internal team meetings and contribute insights on store engagement. 5. Data Entry & Reporting Accurately input all store information, permissions, and booking notes into the company portal. Maintain clean and organised records for audit and reporting purposes. Produce simple weekly summaries where required. Skills & Experience Required Essential: Excellent telephone manner and confidence speaking with store managers. Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills. Telesales experience. Organised, efficient, and able to prioritise tasks. Ability to respond to issues promptly and professionally. IT proficiency (CRM systems, portals, email, spreadsheets). Comfortable working in a target-driven environment. Preferred: Experience in bookings, coordination, or administrative roles. Background in charity fundraising, retail liaison, or call-centre work. Understanding of face-to-face fundraising operations.
