We are seeking a qualified and experienced F-Gas Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out servicing, maintenance, fault finding, and repair works across a range of systems including Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP), split air conditioning systems, and commercial HVAC installations within both residential and commercial environments. The role requires a proactive and customer-focused engineer capable of delivering high-quality workmanship, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and achieving first-time fix where possible.What We Offer • Competitive salary (based on experience), • Company vehicle, fuel card, and tools, • Ongoing training and development (including renewables and ASHP systems), • Opportunity to work across high-profile commercial and social housing contracts Key Responsibilities • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on:, • Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP), • Split, multi-split, and VRF/VRV air conditioning systems, • Diagnose faults and undertake reactive maintenance and repairs across domestic and commercial systems, • Commission, test, and inspect systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency, • Complete all relevant service documentation, including digital job sheets, compliance certificates, and asset reports, • Identify and report remedial works, providing clear technical recommendations and quotations where required, • Ensure all works are carried out in line with:, • F-Gas regulations, • Health & Safety legislation, • Company procedures and client-specific compliance requirements, • Maintain effective communication with clients, tenants, and internal teams, ensuring excellent customer service at all times, • Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP), • Split and multi-split air conditioning systems, • VRF/VRV systems (e.g., Daikin, Mitsubishi, Panasonic), • Commercial HVAC plant and controls Essential: • Valid F-Gas Category 1 Certification, • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent), • Experience working with ASHP systems (MCS-aligned environments beneficial), • Manufacturer training (e.g., Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric), • IPAF / PASMA, • Proven experience in servicing and maintaining AC and heat pump systems, • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability, • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively, • Experience working in:, • Social housing, • Commercial buildings (schools, offices, retail), • Residential properties, • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic, • Professional and customer-focused approach, • Committed to high standards of workmanship and safety, • Flexible and adaptable to meet client and business needs
