Bid Writer\n\nA leading UK infrastructure and utilities services organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Bid Writer to join its busy Business Development function. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail‑driven bid professional to play a key role in securing work across a range of utilities and infrastructure sectors.\n\nThe role\n\nAs Bid Writer, you will support the end‑to‑end delivery of high‑quality tender submissions, working closely with internal stakeholders across technical, operational and commercial teams. You will be instrumental in coordinating inputs, shaping compelling written responses and ensuring that all submissions are accurate, compliant and professionally presented.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nInterpreting tender and PQQ requirements, briefing contributors and managing internal programmes to meet submission deadlines\nWriting, editing and refining bid content including questionnaires, standard responses, case studies and supporting documentation\nCoordinating technical and commercial inputs from subject matter experts, ensuring consistency, clarity and alignment with win themes\nManaging formatting, copy‑checking, proof‑reading and final production of submission documents using approved templates\nAdministering online tender portals and maintaining accurate bid and CRM records, alongside general bid team support activities\nCapturing lessons learned from tender outcomes to support continuous improvement of bid quality and risk management\nContributing to the development and enhancement of templates, standard materials and wider business development collateralAbout you\n\nYou will have demonstrated experience producing successful bids, within construction, infrastructure, industrial or utilities environments.
