Job Title: Health, Safety & Environmental Officer Location: Co. Tyrone, Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (OTE) Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 8:00/9:00am – 4:30/5:30pm) Reports To: HR Manager & Factory Manager About the Role We are seeking a dedicated HSE Officer to join our team and ensure the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance across our operations. This is a key position within the business, providing advice, support, and guidance to management and staff, while ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies. Key Responsibilities • Provide Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) support and guidance to managers and employees., • Develop, implement, and maintain company HSE policies and procedures., • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments, recommending corrective actions., • Manage incident investigations and prepare detailed reports., • Ensure compliance with all applicable H&S regulations and company standards., • Coordinate all fire safety, first aid, and emergency response requirements., • Deliver internal training and assist in coordinating external safety training., • Support external audits and maintain accurate records., • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role within a manufacturing or packaging environment., • Recognised HSE qualification (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)., • Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills., • Good IT proficiency (MS Office) and report writing skills., • Full clean driving licence., • NEBOSH Diploma or Environmental NEBOSH qualification., • Experience within the FMCG or food manufacturing sector., • 28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)., • Workplace pension (auto-enrolment after 3 months)., • Free on-site parking and canteen facilities., • Staff events throughout the year., • 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday., • Standard schedule: 8:00/9:00am – 4:30/5:30pm., • Flexibility required during audits, customer visits, and peak periods., • Lunch: 30 mins (unpaid), 2 x 15-min breaks (1 paid).
