    As a Credit Control Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification. You will support the Credit Control team with day-to-day administration, customer contact and cash collection activities, while developing key skills in finance, communication and problem-solving. This role is ideal for someone starting their career, offering structured training, real responsibility and the opportunity to build strong foundations in credit control within a supportive team environment. DUTIES • Support the timely collection of customer payments in line with agreed terms, • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal teams, • Assist in reducing overdue and aged debt, helping to minimise bad debt risk, • Help resolve invoice queries and disputes quickly to avoid payment delays, • Contribute to team performance through accurate reporting and collaboration Identify opportunities to improve credit control processes and ways of working Role Responsibilities Role responsibilities Learn and understand the fundamentals of credit management, including credit analysis, risk assessment and debt recovery procedures Assist in monitoring and managing accounts receivable to ensure timely customer payments Communicate with customers via phone, email and other channels to follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve payment discrepancies or queries. Complete administrative tasks such as issuing monthly statements, saving remittance advice and confirming payments with Treasury Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment arrangements and collection activities using internal systems and databases Work closely with colleagues, clients and customers to share information where appropriate ensuring all Company procedures are correctly followed Carry out collection activities in a professional and customer focused manner to maintain strong relationships Support the assessment of new and existing customers credit worthiness to assist with appropriate credit limits Identify high risk accounts or non-responsiveness to the Senior Credit Controller to assist in the prevention in bad debt Regularly review and monitor aged debts, prioritising those identified as high-risk or high-value accounts & escalate where necessary Collaborate with internal teams such as Billing or Sales to help resolve account issues and support the Quote to Cash process Complete all apprenticeship training and coursework in line with the relevant framework SKILLS • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, • Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities, • Clear and confident communication skills both written and verbal, • Ability to work well as part of a team, • Professional approach when handling sensitive or confidential information, • Confidence communicating with customers and colleagues, • Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in credit control and finance EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS • Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) including Maths and English, • For apprenticeship enrolment purposes on to the apprenticeship training course, we cannot accept applications from candidates with a qualification equal to or above in a related subject, or with more than 12-24 months of work experience in an administration role

Our team works on a variety of projects weather that's being on the shop floor or working on the road. We are looking for someone 18+ who can start immediately. Full driving licence is preferred but not a necessity and full training will be given. What you'll be responsible for... working on vans and commercial vehicles Wiring various vehicle electrical systems, such as alarms, parking sensors and cameras Installation of different kinds of lights and wiring them throughout vehicles Use of hand air and power tools impact gun, drill ect (Training will be given) Working in a busy manufacturing environment Adhering to health and safety Candidate Requirements...
