As an Armed Security Officer at Precision Security Team, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for the public at your assigned location. Your responsibilities will include addressing security concerns and handling requests as needed to ensure the safety and satisfaction of clients and the community. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities may vary by site and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), but generally include: Professionalism & Communication: Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor when interacting with clients, patrons, guests, partners, coworkers, and the public. Situational Awareness: Stay vigilant and aware of surroundings at all times to identify and address potential security risks. Access Control & Perimeter Security: • Conduct foot patrols to monitor and secure the premises., • Deny access to unauthorized individuals., • Conduct bag checks and metal detector wanding as required., • Help protect the client’s liquor license by ensuring compliance with alcohol regulations., • Utilize QR code/NFC tag scanning for site patrols and verification., • Operate surveillance systems (CCTV) to monitor and review security footage., • Assist with building evacuations and emergency situations as needed., • Issue, manage, and monitor badge access for authorized individuals., • Utilize verbal de-escalation techniques ("Verbal Judo") to defuse tense situations., • Follow all site-specific SOPs, company policies, and local laws/regulations. Requirements: General Requirements: • Must be 18 years of age or older., • Must possess a high school diploma or GED., • Must successfully pass a background check as required by company and client standards., • Must be able to work assigned shifts without schedule modifications., • Must wear the required uniform properly at all times, maintaining a clean and professional appearance in accordance with company standards.Physical Requirements:, • Ability to stand for up to eight (8) hours or more per shift., • Ability to sit for extended periods, if required by the post., • Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently throughout the shift., • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted., • Must be able to perform basic self-defense and de-escalation techniques as part of company-required hand-to-hand training.
