American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technician for a travel job in Atlanta, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Radiology Technician, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 04/06/2026, • Duration: 6 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, nights, • Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview • Shift: Nights, 5x8hrs, • Hours: 40 hrs/wk, • Start Date: Apr 6, 2026, • Length: 6 weeks, • High-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center with complex, high-volume, and diverse cases, • X-Ray department with rotation across the OR, ED, inpatient, and portable imaging, • Must be willing to work with pediatric and neonatal patient populations, • Assigned to a department daily but expected to float as needed, • EMR: Epic and Sectra, • Equipment: GE, Philips, and Carestream, • 8-hour night shifts (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 5 shifts per week, • Expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month, • Block scheduling is generally not approvedRequirements, • Minimum 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience, or 2-3 years at a large-bed Level 2 trauma facility, • Proven experience in high-pressure, high-volume trauma environments with complex and severe cases, • Current BLS and ARRT certification required, • Graduation from a JRCERT/ARRT-approved program required, • Proficiency operating radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment, • Experience with GE, Philips, and Carestream imaging equipment preferred, • Active state license required if applicableAdditional Information, • Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment and evaluate images for technical quality, • Will work alongside students and perform competency check-offs as part of the role, • Mask fit testing is required, • Local candidates are accepted With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
