We are proud franchisees of Burger King and El Pollo Loco, operating multiple locations throughout the Los Angeles region. In addition to our restaurant operations, we also own and manage a small real estate portfolio, and this position will assist with the administrative and financial tasks associated with these properties. WRG has maintained a strong, consistent team. Our current staff, who have been with us since 2022, will be stepping into new roles within the organization. This existing team member will provide full training and onboarding to the incoming candidate, ensuring a smooth transition and thorough understanding of all duties. The ideal candidate demonstrates • Long-term employment history in prior roles, • A strong professional track record with excellent references, • Commitment, loyalty, and consistency, • A desire to grow with WRG long-term, • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, • Excellent communication, especially via Outlook, • A self-starter mindset with the ability to anticipate needs, • Comfort working fully on-site in a fast-paced, multi-unit environment, • Understanding and experience with tax cycles is highly valuable All bookkeeping and P&L preparation are handled by a third-party accounting firm, allowing this role to focus on AP, payroll administration, compliance, operational accuracy, and administrative support. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Operations • Process Accounts Payable and manage vendor payments in Restaurant365 (R365), • Maintain annual billing calendars (business license tax, sales tax, property tax deadlines, renewals), • Perform bank deposit cross-checking via Chase & Wells Fargo, • Prepare P&L packets once closed by our accounting partner, • Track, verify, and dispute vendor invoices, • Assist with tax-related documentation and deadlines, • Compile operational and financial data for Monthly Manager Meetings, • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems Payroll Administration (ADP Workforce Now) • Enter payroll bi-weekly, • Process hourly time entries submitted by restaurant managers, • Maintain accurate employee data: new hires, terminations, updates, • Enter sick pay hours, • Process General Manager bonus payments, • Communicate with managers regarding discrepancies HR, Compliance & Vendor Coordination • Manage Kaiser Permanente enrollments/terminations and payroll deductions, • Complete monthly Trusaic ACA compliance uploads, • Contact vendors to resolve invoice disputes or request clarification, • Support general compliance tasks as required Administrative & Operational Support • Access Jason’s email and calendar for communication and scheduling, • Organize restaurant period paperwork for internal review, • Maintain communication with restaurant managers, • Serve as a reliable in-office resource for daily administrative needs, • Support leadership with operational and administrative tasks Required Software Skills • Restaurant365 (R365), • DIVVY, • Buildium, • Mac OS, • Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, • ADP Workforce Now, • Chase & Wells Fargo banking portals, • Above Restaurant management software (training provided) Why Join WRG? • 16+ years of stability and growth, • Multi-unit franchisee of Burger King & El Pollo Loco, • Long-term, stable role with room for growth, • Ever-evolving position that expands with your abilities, • Strong organizational culture centered on trust, respect, and accountability, • Competitive salary, • Sick time, vacation, and 401(k), • Kaiser Permanente health insurance, • Annual merit-based salary increase, • Annual holiday bonus, • Flexible role structure within an on-site environment
