Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Summary: CASES is seeking a Compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse with active New York licensure and hands-on experience supporting adults with complex mental health, substance use, trauma, homelessness, violence risk, and criminal legal-involved backgrounds. Adept at delivering integrated physical and behavioral health services through screenings, care coordination, psychotropic medication administration, blood draws, patient education, and timely documentation. Known for building trust, collaborating effectively with hospitals, shelters, jails, and primary care providers, and providing care in a strengths-based, recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive manner. IMT is a multi-disciplinary team of behavioral health professionals (e.g., psychiatric care providers, registered nurses, behavioral health specialists, peer support staff) who work with clients who have frequent movement across the behavioral health care system (outpatient and inpatient), the housing system (shelter, street, supportive, and independent housing) and the criminal legal system (jail, probation, parole); existing underlying risk of violence and/or violent behavior; serious mental illness diagnosis; and/or a history of, or active use of, substances. The primary goal of IMT is engagement and improving clients’ quality of life through engagement in treatment, rehabilitation, housing and support services that promote wellness, recovery, community integration as well as community safety. Shift Hours: This position is full-time Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Salary: The salary for this role is $100,940 per year. Location Address: 2090 Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd, 8th Floor, New York, N.Y., 10027. Our offices are easily accessible by public transportation. Workplace Flexibility: Flexible - Staff have the flexibility to complete their workday from home or another suitable space, typically after reporting to the office and/or engaging in field or community-based work. What You Will Be Doing: • Improve the overall health of program participants, including promotion of physical and mental health integration., • Conduct health screenings, provide linkage to primary and specialty care, and educate on health and wellness., • Perform blood draws, monitor and administer psychotropic injections consistent with consumer needs preferences and practice standards, and prepare of medication to be dispensed., • Complete progress notes and assessments in the electronic health record within a timely manner., • Work with external stakeholders – such as hospitals, shelters, jails, primary care – to achieve positive client outcomes, • Provide services in a strengths-based, recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive manner.
