The Vice President of Sales is an important part of the organization at Veritext and will be responsible for providing essential support to clients throughout the region and, in addition to providing strategy and direction for the Director of Sales and the Account Executives within the region. This leader collaborates with the RVP and the Director/VP of Operations, to ensure attainment of all operation business objective, all client objectives and adherence to Service Level Agreements. What you'll get to do: • Maintain relationships and grow top-tier clients in the region, • Collaborate with the other field leaders to collaborate and grow the business in the individual markets, • Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the markets to ensures the attainment of company sales goals and profitability, • Responsible for the performance and development of the Director of Sales and Account Executives., • Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by the team for effective search of sales leads and prospects, • Initiates and coordinates the development of action plans to penetrate new markets, • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed, • Conducts one-on-one review with all Directors of Sales to build more effective communications, understand training and development needs, and provide insight for the improvement of the Account Executive’s sales and activity performance, • Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance, • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin, • Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Account Executives, • Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses, • Assists teams in preparation of proposals and presentations., • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines, • Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team, • Takes part in Interviews when hiring Account Executives based on criteria agreed upon by senior management, • Sales Support functions such as ordering client giveaways, and event planning., • Client and witness accommodations (setting up conference rooms for depositions, meetings, etc.), • Provide support to for sales and marketing efforts, including coordination of Trade Shows, catering, networking events, and sponsorships; ensure a ready supply of marketing collateral and promotional items, • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs, • Assisting the Head of Sales in the development of contests, projects, and other activities that help drive the sales process, • Administration of systems that support the sales process (Salesforce.com, Vision, etc.), • Other duties as assigned The kind of leader we are looking for: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, • 5+ years of sales leadership experience, • Proven track record of success in a business-to-business sales environment, • Prior experience selling and leading sales within the legal industry preferred, • Proficient in the use of technology and software programs, • Excellent verbal and written communication, • Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills; able to respond promptly to client needs, follow through and resolve issues in a pleasant and helpful manner, • Detail oriented, organized and dedicated professional, • Proactive and motivated with good problem-solving skills, • Must be detail-oriented and accurate, ability to work well under pressure, • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and interact effectively, • Results Driven, Professionalism, Integrity, and Accountability What's in it for you: • Competitive compensation: base salary + bonus opportunity and total rewards package, • Comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance, • Paid Time Off to rest, relax and pursue special interests outside of work (8 paid holidays, 3 personal days, vacation, sick and discretionary time), • Robust suite of mental health benefits with little to no fee for you (and your household members) to support overall mental wellbeing and provide sufficient access to high quality support from board-certified psychiatrists and licensed psychologists/therapists (app based, virtual counseling, daily emails, live and on-demand content, and more), • Matched 401(k) to help you save for your future, • Pet insurance to help your pet(s) live a long and happy life, • Flexible Spending Accounts (healthcare, dependent care, transit & parking), • Company-paid life insurance as well as short-term and long-term disability insurance, • Learning and development opportunities to advance both personally and professionally, • Veritext Summer Camp – a fun-filled culture building and learning experience, • Generous employee referral program, tuition reimbursement program, employee contests, social opportunities and more!
