As a Video Production Intern/Co-Op, you'll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while supporting our mission. We're seeking someone skilled, eager, and ambitious who consistently delivers strong work across media. You'll collaborate with experienced professionals, create graphics for TV spots, animate display banners, and produce digital video for social mediaall in one day. Youll work with our Supervising Producer on real client projects, getting practical exposure to every stage of production from concept to delivery. This is a rare, paid opportunity to immerse yourself in a professional studio environment and build a portfolio that reflects genuine client work on television spots to digital video assets. Responsibilities • Assist the Supervising Producer on client video projects from pre-production through post, • Support studio shoots setting up cameras, lights, and audio equipment, • Operate camera equipment and assist with lighting setups during production, • Edit video footage using industry-standard software (rough cuts through final delivery), • Ingest, organize, and manage video files and project assets, • Create basic motion graphics, titles, and lower thirds, • Source music, B-roll, and supplementary assets for projects, • Assist with equipment prep, set dressing, and studio breakdown What We Offer 1,000 sq ft Production Studio Full access to our professional studio with professional lighting rigs and shooting equipment Real Client Work Contribute to live client projects not training exercises building a professional-grade portfolio Mentorship One-on-one guidance from our Director of Production throughout the internship Career-Building Experience Gain industry-relevant skills, professional references, and portfolio pieces that stand out Skills & Qualifications Required • Proficiency in video editing software Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, • Proficiency in App-based video editing/creation tools (CapCut), • Mastery of Online content environments (YouTube, Reels, TikTok), • Basic camera operation skills: exposure, focus, framing, and shot composition, • Foundational understanding of studio lighting setups (three-point lighting, etc.), • Working knowledge of audio recording: microphone types, levels, and clean capture, • Ability to organize, ingest, and manage video files and project assets efficiently, • Strong attention to detail and a sharp eye for pacing and storytelling, • Ability to take creative direction and incorporate feedback quickly, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills comfortable on a professional set, • Time management and ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously, • Enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Film, Video Production, Media Arts, Communications, or a related field, • Available 15-20 hours per week, or 30-35 hours per week (to qualify as a co-op) Highly Valued • Experience with Adobe After Effects motion graphics, titles, and visual effects, • Basic color grading skills, • Familiarity with audio post-production (mixing, noise reduction, sync), • Social media video formats understanding of aspect ratios, captions, and platform specs, • Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator for graphic asset creation, • Portfolio or demo reel demonstrating editing and/or cinematography work Bonus (Nice to Have) • 3D modeling skills Cinema 4D, Blender, or Maya, • 3D animation and motion design experience, • Experience with virtual production techniques or green screen compositing, • Basic knowledge of studio photography Along with your resume and cover letter, please provide a link to your portfolio or reel.
