Job Description We are looking for a talented UX Designer to join our growing global team at Sectigo. In this 6-month contract role, you’ll work with the design team to build-out our design system in Figma, ensuring our enterprise platform delivers consistent, accessible, and scalable UI patterns. You’ll partner closely with product, engineering, and stakeholders to translate product into reusable components, foundations, and practices that enable teams to ship faster with higher quality. This is a 6-month contract role, reporting to our Scottsdale office at least 3 days a week. What You’ll Do • Audit and strengthen products by inventorying existing UI, identifying gaps/redundancies, and standardizing patterns across a product line, • Build and maintain a robust Figma library by creating/iterating on components, variants, and responsive behaviors using auto-layout, constraints, and best practices for scalability, • Discover, design, build and iterate on products already in the design phase while producing design components within our design systems, • Help Define foundations and tokens of the system that establish and maintain color, typography, spacing, elevation, iconography, and motion guidance; implement and manage variables/tokens in Figma and align them with engineering needs, • Document and enable adoption through creation of clear usage guidelines, do/don’t examples, accessibility notes, and decision rationale so designers and developers can confidently apply the system, • Provide feedback and mentorship to other designers on the team with direct, constructive feedback to promote consistency, usability, and system adherence, • Help conduct and analyze user research to understand the needs, behaviors, and pain points of our target users that utilize industry trends and emerging technologies, • Maintain usability and accessibility standards to ensure components and patterns meet usability best practices and accessibility requirements across workflows, • Additional tasks associated with this position may be assigned in response to company initiatives and business needs.Qualifications, • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Graphic/Visual Arts, HCI, or a related area, • 2+ years digital product design experience with significant contributions to a design system and/or component library, • Experience participating and providing feedback in internal design reviews while clearly communicating rationale and tradeoffs, • A portfolio of work demonstrating design system thinking, component architecture, foundations, token strategy, documentation, and scaling UI across a product line, • Deep proficiency in Figma, including, • component architecture (variants, properties, nested components), • auto-layout and responsive behaviors, • variables/tokens (color/type/spacing modes), • library publishing and maintenance practices, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present a rationale for design decisions, • Solid understanding of user experience principles, information hierarchy, interaction states, and usability standards Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
