Operates both security and fire alarm monitoring systems, operating/monitoring communications equipment, logging shift activities, monitoring surveillance and intrusion monitors, alarms and camera systems, processing required reports and making appropriate notifications. Uses communication equipment to include, but not limited to, two-way radio communications, telephone systems, secure phone, satellite phone, paging systems, alarm receiving equipment, and computer equipment. Makes emergency response notifications and dispatches for all site emergencies in accordance with established procedures. Dispatching of facilities personnel, site telephone operator services, plant access control monitoring, and after-hours Commuter Services Emergency Ride Home services. Makes notifications to all management or designee(s) as required according to Post Orders, for all types of site incidents, emergencies, crises and exercises. Monitors local and international crises involving assigned client and/or site as designated. Ensures compliance of UL2050 standard for National Industrial Security systems (dispatching, response, weekly generator test, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, equipment protection (tarps), training, etc., as required. Maintains a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures; acts to ensure that staff members understand and comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Ensures all equipment is present and operational. Maintains all logs, reviews and writes reports for incidents and emergencies using a Significant Events Log during assigned shift. Key Responsibilities: As an Experienced Lead Security Guard at Charlie Mike Protective Services, you will: Work various security details such as: Hostile Terminations, Workplace Violence, Asset Recovery/Delivery, Close Protection and more. Assist security guards with operational questions and concerns. Assist with employee performance reviews. Interact with current and potential security clients. Follow company policies and procedures. Qualifications and Skills: To thrive in this role, you must possess: A valid Colorado CCW A valid Driver's License High school diploma or equivalent (additional security or law enforcement training is a plus). 5 years of experience in security operations, armed security, military combat, military police, or law enforcement. Strong knowledge of security protocols and emergency response tactics. Exceptional judgment, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Physical fitness for demanding tasks and agility. Reliability, trustworthiness, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Successful completion of a thorough background check and drug screening. Strong attention to Details Must have good spoken and written English. Must be available to work nights and weekends (if necessary). Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Etc.
