About the Role We’re hiring an AI Solutions Architect who can take an ambiguous problem – “extract structured insight from hours of video” – and turn it into a production pipeline that actually works. This isn’t a role for someone who only knows how to call an API and parse the response. We need an engineer who understands the full lifecycle: how raw data gets shaped, chunked, embedded, routed through a foundation model, validated, and turned into something a downstream system or human can act on. You’ll architect and build AI pipelines and autonomous agent systems on cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), working closely with product, data, and engineering to deliver capabilities that move beyond proof‑of‑concept into reliable, scalable production workloads. About Sycomp Sycomp is a global IT services and logistics provider with extensive expertise in cloud, data center, endpoint management and security solutions. Sycomp’s diverse team of consultants and engineers deliver on the company’s mission to tackle challenging global IT projects through its state-of-the-art integration and warehouse centers and global technology partnerships. Headquartered in the heart of Silicon Valley, California, Sycomp has successfully shipped, deployed and managed complex IT projects and supporting assets in more than 150 countries helping its Fortune 500 customers and global partners realize a world without boundaries. Responsibilities • Design and build AI pipelines that handle real‑world messiness – long‑form media, unstructured documents, streaming data, multi‑modal inputs – including the chunking, context management, retry logic, and output validation that production systems require., • Architect autonomous agent systems: tool selection, planning loops, memory strategies, evaluation, and the guardrails that keep them from going off the rails., • Build on AWS using services like Bedrock, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, SageMaker, OpenSearch, and ECS/EKS – choosing the right primitive for the job rather than forcing one pattern everywhere., • Make pragmatic decisions about model selection, prompt design, fine‑tuning vs. RAG vs. agentic workflows, and cost/latency/quality tradeoffs., • Own the data layer: how data is ingested, transformed, stored, indexed, and surfaced to models so that outputs are accurate, traceable, and useful., • Establish evaluation frameworks and observability so we know whether the system is actually getting better when we change it.Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to translate fuzzy business problems into technical designs and shipped systems. Qualifications • 4+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years building AI/ML systems in production., • Hands‑on experience with AWS, including Bedrock or equivalent foundation model services, and at least a few of: S3, Lambda, Step Functions, SageMaker, OpenSearch, Dynamo DB, ECS/EKS., • Demonstrable experience building AI pipelines or agentic systems that handle non‑trivial data shapes – long documents, audio/video, large structured datasets, or streaming inputs.Strong intuition for prompt engineering, context window management, chunking strategies, and output validation (structured outputs, schema enforcement, retries on malformed responses)., • Proficiency in Python; comfortable with at least one frameworks in the LLM ecosystem (LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, Bedrock Agents, Strands, or similar) – though you should also be willing to drop the framework when it gets in the way.Solid grasp of data engineering fundamentals: how to clean, transform, embed, index, and retrieve data so that what reaches the model is actually useful., • Experience designing evaluation pipelines for non‑deterministic systems – you know that “it worked when I tested it” is not a quality bar. Required Skills • Experience with Azure (Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, AI Search) or GCP (Vertex AI, Gemini APIs).Background in multi‑modal systems (vision‑language models, audio transcription pipelines, video understanding)., • Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, OpenSearch k‑NN) and hybrid retrieval with fine‑tuning, distillation, or model adaptation techniques.Experience with MLOps tooling, model versioning, and A/B testingfor AI systems.Contributions to open source AI/ML projects. Preferred Skills You’re skeptical of hype but excited about what actually works. You can tell the difference between a demo and a system. You think about failure modes early. What happens when the model returns garbage? When the input is 10× bigger than expected? When the API rate‑limits you mid‑pipeline? You care about cost and latency, not just capability. A solution that’s 10× more expensive than it needs to be isn’t a solution. You communicate clearly with non‑AI engineers and non‑technical stakeholders. You can explain why an agent failed without hand‑waving about “the model.” Pay range and compensation package Compensation for this role starts at $120 annually and may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position also includes a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and other standard benefits. This position is remote within the United States. Candidates must reside in one of the following approved states: AL, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KY, ME, MD, MN, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OR, SD, TX, UT, VA, or WA. We are building the operating system for a $300B+ global video production industry shifting to AI-native workflows. Based between San Francisco and Madrid, MITO combines state-of-the-art AI models for image, video, and audio with professional-grade agentic editing tools in a multiplayer, browser-based canvas. Individuals and teams can bring ideas to life by directing AI agents to create scenes and edit in real time. MITO was founded by Iñaki Berenguer (MIT, PhD Cambridge, 5x founder — Pixable acquired by SingTel, CoverWallet $300M exit, iPronics $50M raised), Danny Saltaren (product designer at 2 unicorns, National Design Award), and Arantxa Barcia (award-winning filmmaker). We are backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners, and other investors including Kibo Ventures, K Fund, Sequoia and a16z scouts, LifeX, Everywhere, 5 unicorn founders, and execs from GitHub and Roblox. The Role: This role owns the full sales cycle for MITO's AI-powered production platform (MITO Tools) and studio services (MITO Films) — selling to brands, ad agencies, and production companies who are only beginning to figure out what "AI-native content production" means for them. You will work closely with founders and Solutions Engineers in early-stage deals, run the full cycle from first outbound touch to signed contract, and coordinate tightly with Customer Success and Production — since MITO blends software with hands-on service delivery. This is not a transactional, self-serve sale. This is a high-agency AE who can map a client's production workflow, build a business case where none existed before, and close. Key Responsibilities: Pipeline & Discovery • Build outbound and inbound pipeline targeting brands, ad agencies, and production houses, • Run discovery calls that map a client's content production workflow and pain points, • Lead product demos, often paired with a founder or Solutions Engineer in early-stage settings Full-Cycle Deal Management • Own proposal, negotiation, contract, and close end to end, • Coordinate closely with Customer Success and Production teams to hand off and deliver — critical here, since MITO blends SaaS with service delivery, • Keep pipeline and forecast accurate and current in CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce) Market & Category Building • Feed market feedback directly to the product team — you'll be one of the closest people to how buyers actually think about this still-forming category, • Help sharpen MITO's positioning and messaging as the market matures About You: • Sales Track Record: You have 2+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience in a consultative motion — not transactional or self-serve. You can back this up with real numbers: quota attainment %, ACV, pipeline managed., • Category Comfort: You're energized, not intimidated, by selling something buyers don't have a category for yet. You've built business cases from scratch before., • Domain Instinct: Experience selling to agencies or brands, or a background in MarTech, AdTech, or creative tools, is a strong plus., • Cross-Functional Fluency: You're comfortable working closely with Customer Success and Production teams, since delivery here isn't pure software., • Remote Collaboration: You're self-directed and comfortable operating remotely while staying tightly connected to a team split between San Francisco and Madrid. Compensation & Perks: Competitive base + uncapped variable, with an accelerator that rewards you well above target. • Competitive, market-benchmarked salary with a strong commission structure and accelerators above quota, • Flexibility to work hybrid out of our San Francisco office or fully remote within the US, • Work directly with the founding team, closing deals in a category you'll help define, • Front-row seat to the fastest-moving frontier in tech, selling a product built by repeat founders and award-winning creatives, • The chance to shape how brands, agencies, and studios buy AI-native production — before anyone else has figured it out
