Job DescriptionDescription: JOB PURPOSE The Midwestern Campus is a source of great pride for those attending and/or working in and around the facilities. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc.) for the preservation and upkeep of the buildings and campus grounds. The position may be required to perform general cleaning and other tasks as assigned. In addition, the technicians may be required to assist other departments as determined by the Director of Campus Operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Maintaining all building systems, including electrical, lighting, HVAC, plumbing and others as needed or as assigned. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and construction are helpful but not required. We are willing to train someone who is willing to work and be a part of a team.
