This role emphasizes strong customer service and teamwork. Bartenders are expected to maintain a clean and organized service area, follow all alcohol service and safety regulations, and contribute to a fun and welcoming guest experience. The Bartender may also occasionally assist with cashier, reception, or food runner duties as needed. Key Responsibilities: • Drink Preparation & Service:, • Prepare and serve alcoholic drinks according to the menu and customer specifications., • Take orders from guests and provide timely, courteous, and accurate service., • Ensure all drinks are served according to established standards, presentations, and company guidelines., • Recommend drinks based on customer preferences and provide suggestions for pairings., • Customer Service:, • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience., • Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction., • Create a welcoming atmosphere by maintaining a positive attitude and fostering a good rapport with patrons., • Point of Sales & Transactions:, • Accurately take drink orders, process payments, and operate the cash register., • Ensure all financial transactions are handled efficiently and securely., • Upsell and promote drink specials, events, and other offerings to maximize sales., • Bar Maintenance & Organization:, • Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and stocked with all necessary supplies., • Clean utensils and equipment used at the bar., • Restock the bar with garnishes, and other supplies as needed., • Monitor and replenish inventory, reporting any shortages to the Bar Manager., • Compliance & Safety:, • Follow all health and safety regulations regarding the safe handling of food, alcohol, and equipment., • Additional Duties:, • Occasionally perform cashier duties, including processing payments, handling transactions, and operating the cash register, • Assist with reception duties, including greeting and directing guests, and answering phone calls., • Serve food to guests as a food runner, ensuring food items are delivered promptly and presented attractively., • Skills & Qualifications:, • Previous experience as a bartender or in the food and beverage industry is preferred., • Knowledge of bartending techniques and presentation., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of service., • Must have a valid TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) certification or the ability to obtain one., • Must have a valid Food Handlers card or the ability to obtain one., • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs. (e.g., stock bottles, trays)., • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills., • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required., • Physical Demands:, • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods., • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 30 lbs. (e.g., bottles, kegs, food items)., • Manual dexterity for preparing and serving drinks and handling cashier transactions., • Must be able to work in a loud, fast-paced environment with multiple distractions., • Working Conditions:, • Work in a busy bar setting, often in a loud environment with high customer volume., • Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate peak service times., • Occasional late-night shifts, depending on business needs., • Exposure to varying temperatures and occasional physical labor (e.g., stocking, cleaning, food running)., • Work with food and alcohol, adhering to strict health and safety standards., • Occasional shifts where additional duties, such as cashier, reception, or food running, will be required.
