What We Offer * Weekly pay of $20 per hour * Direct deposit & debit card payment options * Health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance * Weekly Pay MIG Welder Tasks & Duties * Read and understand blueprints prior to starting a project * Source the materials to be used in the project * Measure and cut materials to specifications * Weld materials using the correct materials to join the metals together * Check finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints MIG Welder Shift Info * Night Shift, 4:30pm to 1am * Monday - Friday MIG Welder Qualifications (Requirements/Skills) * MIG Welder experience required * GED / High School Diploma * Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen * Able to pass a background check * Able to work in the US * Knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools * Proven experience as welder * Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MMA etc.) * Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.) * Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings * Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.) * Deftness and attention to detail * Proficient in English * Successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship program is required * AWS welding certificate * Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) a plus About Ascend Staffing Ascend Staffing has been connecting great people with real opportunities for over 50 years.
