Job Description TEACHER ASSISTANT (NY STATE CERTIFIED) – SPECIAL EDUCATION United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry is representing a well-established, private, special education school from grades Kindergarten-12th grade. They pride themselves on helping their students achieve success by supporting each child’s learning style. This is a 12-month program. Salary - $35,000-$40,000 depending on experience Excellent benefits package – Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Program Days/Hours: M-F, 8:00a.m. to 2:30p.m., with the exception of Tuesdays and Wednesdays when there are after school meetings at 3:30p.m. and 4:00p.m. Responsibilities for the Teacher Assistant (NY State Certified): · Monitor students entering and leaving · Responsible for the student attendance report · Implement daily instruction, activities, and behavior strategies · Support students in their school activities · Teach skills that are targeted goals for each student with support from the Head/Lead teacher Requirements for the Teacher Assistant (NY State Certified): · Minimum of an Associate’s Degree or some college credits required · Must have NYS Teaching Assistant Certificate · Minimum of 1-2 years previous experience working with special needs children in a special education setting · Experience with children with developmental disabilities and other related disorders preferred · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Ability to provide 3 professional work related references Apply today for immediate consideration! Job Description TEACHER – EARLY CHILDHOOD United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry has the pleasure of assisting a well-established organization that supports children by helping them thrive and grow. They are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher for children ages 2 – 4 years old. We are excited about the expansion of this program and moving into a new facility to enhance the learning and experience of children and their families. We are seeking enthusiastic, creative Early Childhood Teachers to join their faculty.
