Job Description Commitment: Flexible – 20 hours/week (part-time) or 40 hours/week (full-time) Duration: 6–12 months About the Role Cormica TPM Laboratories is seeking motivated undergraduate and master's students in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related disciplines to join our laboratory as interns. This role offers hands-on experience in a GMP-regulated testing environment, working with techniques such as wet chemistry, HPLC, GC, and other analytical methods used in pharmaceutical and biotech testing. Interns will contribute directly to day-to-day laboratory operations, gain exposure to industry-standard practices, and develop technical, organizational, and compliance skills valuable for future careers in pharmaceuticals, biotech, and contract testing organizations. Key Responsibilities • Perform general testing procedures under supervision, including:, • Wet chemistry techniques (titrations, pH, dissolution, etc.), • HPLC and GC analysis, • Routine sample preparation and testing, • Conduct testing on drug substances, drug products, raw materials, and excipients, • Document laboratory work accurately and in compliance with GMP guidelines, • Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment, cleanliness, and safety standards, • Collaborate with laboratory staff to support testing workflows and timelines, • Participate in training sessions on quality, safety, and compliance, • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field, • Strong interest in analytical testing and laboratory practices, • Ability to commit to 20 or 40 hours per week depending on program option, • Willingness to work flexible schedules and shifts if required, • Basic understanding of laboratory safety and documentation practices, • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, • Practical laboratory experience in a regulated (GMP) environment, • Exposure to advanced instrumentation and analytical techniques, • Experience testing across drug substances, drug products, raw materials, and excipients, • Understanding of compliance, quality systems, and documentation practices As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment, all offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
