Job Description Körber Pharma Packaging Materials LLC A global leader of high-quality folding cartons and literature for the pharmaceutical industry is in search of an experienced Print Production Planner. The Production Planner coordinates all aspects of production planning for press, bindery, and finishing operations. This role ensures jobs flow efficiently through each department by developing detailed production plans, managing materials, and maintaining communication between Customer Service/Sales and Manufacturing. The ideal candidate combines strong organizational skills with a deep understanding of print production workflows and a commitment to accuracy and on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Job Planning and Workflow Management · Create job tickets in the ERP system based on estimates; review for efficiency, provide layouts, and enter clear instructions for manufacturing. · Review job tickets, artwork, and specifications to confirm accuracy prior to production release. · Requisition and purchase raw materials, consumables, and subcontracted services to align with production schedules. · Monitor job progress to ensure key milestones are met. · Initiate and submit change orders for re-estimation as needed. · Maintain accurate and up-to-date job information in the ERP system daily. Cross-Functional Coordination & Communication · Collaborate effectively with Sales, Customer Service, Prepress, Pressroom, and Finishing departments to align job priorities and schedules. · Participate in daily production meetings, report on schedule status, risks, and completion targets. · Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, maintaining professionalism and composure under pressure. Qualifications: · Minimum 7–10 years of production planning experience, preferably in printing, packaging, or folding carton manufacturing. · Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; experience with EFI Pace preferred. · Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with limited supervision. · Prior experience in a pharmaceutical packaging environment highly desired. · Keyboarding proficiency (minimum 40 words per minute). · High School Diploma or equivalent required · Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred Körber Pharma Packaging Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer that offers a comprehensive benefit package including Medical, Dental, STD/LTD, Vision, Life Insurance and 401(k) in addition to Paid Time Off and holidays.
