Job Description Product Compliance Trainer Full-Time | Hybrid – 3 days in Downtown Miami office per week (Not A Remote Position) | Some Travel Required About the Role We are partnering with an Insurance Platform, who is seeking a Product Compliance Trainer to support their rapidly growing health insurance distribution ecosystem. This role ensures that internal staff and independently contracted agencies understand and follow all compliance, product, and sales-practice requirements across Short-Term Medical (STM), Limited Medical, Employer sponsored group health plans / working-owner plans, supplemental health, and carrier-specific guidelines. The Product Compliance Trainer will design, deliver, and maintain high-quality training programs that reduce risk, improve sales accuracy, and align with state/federal regulatory standards along with carrier expectations. This role reports to the Director of Strategy & Risk and works closely with Compliance, Product, Commercial Agency Management teams. Key Responsibilities Training Program Development • Develop and maintain training modules for product knowledge, sales-practice compliance, eligibility, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory standards., • Create product-specific curricula for STM, Limited Med, Fixed Indemnity, ERISA/working-owner plans, supplemental benefits, and Medicare Advantage., • Translate complex legal/regulatory requirements into simple, accurate training content (scripts, guides, videos, LMS modules)., • Host live training sessions (virtual + on-site) for internal teams and external downline agencies., • Train new agents on:, • Disclosures, • Q&A protocols, • Prohibited misrepresentations, • Enrollment documentation and disclaimers, • Work directly with Compliance and QA to identify recurrent violations or misunderstandings and turn them into training programs., • Support corrective-action training for agencies with identified compliance gaps., • Maintain documentation of all training activities, sign-offs, and attendance for audit and regulatory purposes., • Stay current with state DOI rules, CMS updates, FTC sales-practice enforcement trends, NAIC model guidance, and carrier compliance bulletins., • Interpret and explain product documents such as certificates, plan summaries, rate manuals, underwriting guides, and ERISA plan documents., • Partner with Product Development to ensure sales messaging aligns with approved filings., • Support Carrier Relations with rollout training for new product launches., • Coordinate with Operations and QA to validate training effectiveness and reduce complaint ratios., • 3+ years of experience in health insurance, compliance, product training, or QA within STM, Limited Med, Supplemental Health, Group/ERISA, • Strong familiarity with state regulations, product filings, plan design, PPO structures, enrollment workflows, and carrier compliance rules., • Experience creating training content (LMS, slide decks, videos, guides)., • Strong communication, facilitation, and documentation skills., • Experience working in an MGA/MGU, TPA, call center, or health insurance distribution environment., • Familiarity with CMS sales rules (MA/ACA), NAIC STM & Limited Benefit models, and ERISA group plan requirements., • Experience with compliance incident remediation or root-cause analysis., • Prior experience training independent agents or remote teams., • Expert communicator, • Highly organized, • Strong attention to detail, • Comfortable enforcing compliance standards, • Skilled at translating complex requirements, • Outstanding facilitator for both small and large groups, • Competitive salary based on experience, • Bonus structure aligned with quality and compliance outcomes, • Full benefits package, • Hybrid / Remote work environment (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in Downtown Miami office) with periodic travel to HQ or training events in Ft.
