Job Description The RATERIGHT Team is a fast-growing, referral-driven mortgage team inside Nexa Mortgage — the largest wholesale mortgage broker in the United States with access to 280+ lenders and some of the most competitive loan programs in the market. We are growing quickly and intentionally. Which means we need an agile, sharp, calm-under-pressure Senior Loan Partner who can help steady the ship while we scale. This is not a back-office paper-pushing role. You are the operational force that keeps files moving, clients informed, and the experience smooth from pre-approval to closing. You ensure nothing falls through the cracks and that every borrower and referral partner feels taken care of at a high level. You will work directly with Yianni Garcia — a high-energy, relationship-driven mortgage broker known for leading with both warmth and high standards. Compensation- Base Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 (based on experience), Per-File Bonus Structure: 0–10 loans/month: $150 per closed loan, 11–20 loans/month: $200 per closed loan, 21+ loans/month: $250 per closed loan, Additional Earnings: Bonuses for self-generated business, Nexa revenue share, Leadership growth opportunities, Benefits & Perks: Health insurance, 21 days PTO, 401(k) access, Industry coaching & development, Conferences & events, Leadership growth track Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 base based on experience Responsibilities: Pre-Application & Pre-Approval • Review borrower income, assets, credit, and loan structure, • Issue accurate and confident pre-approvals, • Run payment, rate, and closing cost scenarios, • Identify red flags early and collaborate on solutions, • Verify all loan documentation is complete and accurate, • Prepare files and documentation required for underwriting and verifications, • Oversee pipeline from contract to close, • "Warm handoff" to processors: ensure files are complete, • Track deadlines, contingencies, and key milestones, • Deliver consistent weekly borrower and realtor updates, • Maintain CRM and Monday.com pipeline accuracy, • Serve as primary liaison between Loan Officers and clients, • Schedule meetings and strategy calls to clear outstanding items, • Answer transaction questions for clients and internal team members, • Provide a high-touch, concierge-level borrower experience, • Provide administrative support, including call screening and scheduling, • Maintain file organization and communication tracking, • Ensure documentation and communication standards are met, • Support and help manage the Loan Officer Assistant, • Collaborate closely with contract processors, • Improve systems and workflows as volume increases, • Support production growth initiatives and scaling efforts This role includes opportunities beyond the desk: • Attend realtor and industry networking events, • Occasional travel for conferences and Nexa corporate trainings, • Exposure to high-level deal structuring and strategy, • 3+ years mortgage experience (Loan Partner, LOA, or Loan Officer), • Strong understanding of loan structuring and pre-approvals, • Experience managing loans from application through closing, • Excellent borrower and realtor communication skills, • High school diploma or equivalent required, • NMLS license or prior licensing/training, • Spanish fluency is a plus Technical Skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, • Experience with CRM and mortgage software preferred, • Familiarity with DU/LP, LOS platforms, and mortgage workflows, • MLS and industry technology familiarity are a plus Core Competencies • Highly organized and detail-oriented, • Strong urgency and follow-through, • Goal-oriented with excellent customer service, • Process-driven and improvement-minded, • Calm under pressure and deadline-focused, • Proactive communicator and problem solver Who Thrives Here This role is ideal for someone who: • Has 3+ years in mortgage origination or production support, • Understands guidelines and enjoys structuring loans, • Is proactive, organized, and calm under pressure, • Wants hands-on mentorship and long-term growth, • Values execution, ownership, and momentum, • Seeks a leadership-track role inside a scaling businessAbout Company About the RATERIGHT Team RATERIGHT is a Latino owned and LGBTQ owned mortgage team built 100 percent through referrals and relationships.
