Job DescriptionSalary: DINING ROOM SUPPORT STAFF at the WILD SAGE RESTAURANT About the Position The PT PM Support Staff(back server/runner/busser hybrid) is the engine of smooth evening service. Youll set the pace for refinement and efficiency by running food, resetting tables, marking courses, maintaining par levels, and supporting the floor and expo so every guest experience feels seamless, calm, and elevated. Qualifications and Skills You bring poise, hustle, and a guest-first mindset consistent with 5-star standards. You communicate clearly, move with purpose, and anticipate needs before theyre voiced. Familiarity with fine-dining etiquette (marking, crumbing, tray service, quiet clears) and coordination with servers, bar, and kitchen is strongly preferred. You take pride in polished details and a spotless dining room. Core Responsibilities • Service Support & Pacing:Run food with confident menu knowledge; coordinate with expo and servers to land courses hot, synchronized, and unobtrusive., • Marking & Crumbing:Pre-mark flatware and share plates; crumb tables discreetly between courses; reset precisely to standards., • Table Maintenance:Water and wine support as directed; refresh napkins, replace shareware, maintain tidy surfaces without interrupting conversation., • Clearing & Resets:Execute quiet, efficient clears; reset linens, glassware, and place settings to spec with speed and accuracy., • Tray & Glassware Handling:Use trays for all glassware; polish and stage stemware and silver to par before and during service., • Stocking & Pars:Maintain par levels for china, flatware, glassware, side towels, candles, menus, and service tools at all stations., • Cleanliness & Safety:Keep server stations, hallways, and side stands immaculate; follow sanitation and breakage protocols., • Communication:Relay allergies, pacing notes, and special requests instantly to the server/manager; escalate guest concerns promptly., • Close-Down:Restock to opening pars, polish and rack glassware, consolidate linens, break down and sanitize stations, and ready the room for the next service. Requirements • Fine-dining or upscale hospitality experience preferred, • Warm, professional presence with excellent communication and teamwork, • Strong multitasking, time management, and attention to detail under pressure, • Solid grasp of service etiquette (marking, coursing, quiet clears, tray service), • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, carry trays, and stand/walk for extended periods, • Availability for evening, weekend, and holidayshifts (part-time), • Food Handler certification (and alcohol service permit where applicable) preferred
