Job DescriptionDescription: Social Media Manager – Wish You Were Here Group Location: Los Angeles or New York City Salary: $80,000–$100,000 + Benefits Job Type: Full-Time Wish You Were Here Group (WYWHG)—the hospitality team behind Elephante, Little Ruby’s, Dudley’s, Bar Bambino, and more—is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to own and elevate the group’s digital presence across all platforms. This is a unique opportunity for a digital native with a passion for hospitality, food, and culture to lead content strategy, storytelling, and engagement across a portfolio of fast-growing, buzz-worthy restaurant concepts. You’ll work closely with our marketing, operations, and creative teams to ensure every post reflects the heart of our brands. What You’ll Do: Strategy & Planning • Develop and execute a cohesive social media strategy for the group and its individual restaurant brands, • Build and present monthly editorial calendars with a mix of planned content and reactive opportunities, • Identify key cultural and seasonal moments to integrate into campaign programming, • Lead content ideation, creation, and scheduling across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging channels, • Collaborate with designers, photographers, videographers, and external creatives to deliver high-quality visual and video content, • Write compelling, on-brand copy for posts, stories, and reels, • Manage and oversee all social media accounts across existing brands and new openings, • Engage with followers, monitor comments/DMs, and actively manage online reputation, • Guide and support local restaurant teams on social best practices and localized content execution, • Plan and execute social campaigns tied to openings, promotions, and seasonal events, • Coordinate collaborations, influencer activations, and digital giveaways, • Track and report on performance metrics including reach, engagement, growth, and ROI, • Use insights to refine strategy and inform future content planning, • 4–6 years of experience in social media marketing, ideally in hospitality, lifestyle, or restaurant brands, • Proven success managing multiple social accounts and brand voices simultaneously, • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for design and visual composition, • Proficiency with tools like Meta Ads Manager, Canva, Final Cut, Adobe Suite, and scheduling platforms, • Deep understanding of social media trends, platform algorithms, and content performance, • Collaborative and creative, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple stakeholders, • Passionate about hospitality, food, and building communities through storytelling, • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, • Competitive salary: $80,000–$100,000 (based on experience), • Comprehensive health benefits, • Paid time off and dining perks
