Job Description We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused On-Site IT Support Technician to support multiple client locations throughout the South Jersey and Philadelphia area. This role is part of a Managed Service Provider (MSP) team and involves travel to client offices, hands-on technical support, and collaboration with a remote helpdesk and engineering team. Experience supporting multi-site environments and Dental and/or Medical practices is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities On-Site Client Support • Provide hands-on IT support at client locations, including workstations, servers, network equipment, and peripherals, • Serve as the primary on-site presence for escalations that require physical access, • Coordinate with remote Level 1–3 technicians to resolve issues efficiently, • Support Windows and macOS desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices, • Troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft 365, email, file access, and line-of-business applications, • Install and troubleshoot network hardware (firewalls, switches, access points), • Assist with cabling, rack equipment, and ISP coordination, • Support VPNs, Wi-Fi connectivity, and basic network troubleshooting, • Support Dental and/or Medical office environments, including:, • Dental systems: Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, imaging systems, • Medical systems: EHR/EMR platforms and practice management software, • Understand clinical workflows and prioritize uptime in patient-care environments, • Accurately document work performed in the ticketing system, • Follow MSP standards, procedures, and SLAs, • Maintain site documentation, asset inventories, and network diagrams, • Represent the MSP professionally at all client locations Required Qualifications • 2–5 years of IT support experience in a professional environment, • Strong desktop and hands-on troubleshooting skills, • Working knowledge of:, • Windows 10/11, • Microsoft 365, • Basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi), • Ability to travel regularly within the South Jersey / Philadelphia area, • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, • Strong customer service and communication skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience in an MSP environment, • Multi-site client support experience, • Dental and/or Medical IT experience, • Familiarity with imaging systems, practice management software, and clinical devices, • Experience with firewalls and networking gear (Meraki, SonicWall, Fortinet, etc.), • Exposure to HIPAA, healthcare compliance, or regulated environments, • Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, etc.) What Success Looks Like in This Role • Client issues are resolved efficiently with minimal disruption, • On-site visits are professional, prepared, and well-documented, • Strong relationships are built with client staff and leadership, • The technician becomes a trusted, go-to resource for assigned accounts
