Job DescriptionJob Title: Insulation InstallerJob Description This role focuses on the installation of insulation materials within wall panels, floor systems, roof assemblies, and modular building components in a manufacturing construction environment. You will measure, cut, fit, and secure insulation products while following safety protocols and quality standards. The position requires experience with insulation installation, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection. Responsibilities • Install insulation materials in walls, floors, ceilings, and roof assemblies according to specifications and production schedules., • Measure, cut, and fit fiberglass, foam, mineral wool, or other insulation materials to required dimensions., • Read and interpret work orders, drawings, blueprints, and production instructions., • Seal gaps and ensure proper coverage to maximize energy efficiency and meet quality standards., • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively during insulation installation., • Wear all required PPE, including respirators, masks, safety glasses, gloves, and protective clothing throughout the workday., • Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures and regulations., • Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards., • Assist with material handling, staging, and general labor tasks as needed., • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and deadlines.Essential Skills, • At least 1 year of insulation installation, construction, manufacturing, or related labor experience., • Comfortable wearing a respirator, face mask, and other PPE for extended periods throughout the shift., • Experience using basic hand and power tools., • Ability to read tape measures and follow work instructions accurately., • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver insulation materials and associated equipment., • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team., • Solid understanding of safety practices and willingness to follow all PPE requirements.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience with fiberglass, foam, batt, blown-in, or rigid board insulation installation., • Previous experience in modular construction, manufacturing, or residential construction environments., • Forklift, material handling, or warehouse experience is a plus., • Ability to work in dusty environments while wearing appropriate respiratory protection., • Experience meeting production schedules and quality standards., • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attendance record., • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift., • Basic construction knowledge and familiarity with building materials.Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing construction setting where insulation is installed into modular and assembly-style building projects. Available schedules include 1st Shift (6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.) with occasional half-day Saturdays as needed. The environment may contain dust and insulation fibers, requiring the consistent use of PPE, including masks and respirators. Employees will stand for extended periods, handle materials, and work closely with team members in a production-focused environment that emphasizes safety, efficiency, and quality. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
