Job DescriptionDescription: Position Overview The Certified Driver Trainer plays a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of all commercial vehicles within the Solid Waste Division. This position is responsible for onboarding, training, and mentoring new and existing drivers, reinforcing company safety standards, and maintaining compliance with DOT and company policies. The Driver Trainer will serve as a subject matter expert on waste collection vehicle operation, customer service expectations, and route efficiency. Job Description Customer Service Representative (Route Driver) Closed Loop Recycling (CLR) is seeking a hard-working, self-motivated Lead Route Driver to join our production team in Houston, TX. CLR is one of the fastest-growing recycling companies. We provide a full service to manufacturers in which we provide them with reusable oil-absorbent material that soaks up leaks and spills in their facilities. Our plants' role is extracting the oily fluid from the material for reuse, laundering the material for reuse, cleaning out 55-gallon collection drums for reuse, and repackaging cleaned material. You’ll be working with a small team but have room for advancement in your career here. This position will require truck training to service clients. It also requires OTR travel every other week due to size & volume. Our CSRs remove 55-gallon collection drums filled with saturated oil absorbent mats, PPE, and other items and replace them with new materials. This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves driving over the road, lifting, and moving heavy objects frequently, and communicating with our logistics department. Unload truck at warehouse and ensure spec on the volumes is gathered and logged by operations., 8. Fill out Customer Relationship Management information for each stop on route., 9. Perform necessary functions and duties around processing plant, activities to include but not limited to: cleaning trucks, collection bins, minor repairs, oil processing, preventive maintenance, other.
