What You’ll Be Doing • Perform hands-on upfitting of commercial trucks and buses for CNG, RNG, and alternative fuel systems in a manufacturing environment, • Install, route, and secure fuel system components, including tanks, lines, brackets, and related hardware, • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation documentation, • Support system integration, troubleshooting, and functional testing, • Ensure compliance with safety, emissions, and quality standards, • Work closely with engineering, quality, and operations teams on custom vehicle builds, • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional shop environment Required Qualifications • Valid California Class C driver’s license, • Minimum 2 years of professional automotive or commercial vehicle experience, • Completion of two years of trade school or formal automotive education may substitute for one year of experience, • Comfortable working on automotive or trucks, buses, or fleet vehicles, • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment, • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail, • Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team Preferred Experience • Commercial truck or bus or automotive upfitting, • CNG or RNG fuel systems experience, • ASE Certifications, • Experience working with fleet vehicles, shuttle buses, or specialty vehicles This is a high-quality technician role with real impact, strong compensation, and full benefits.
