Job Description Position Summary: Provide warm personalized service, while demonstrating leadership and teamwork to all Team Members. Bartenders will always comply with and enforce alcohol awareness laws and procedures. 1. Maintain a clean and organized bar, proper set up of pouring station and pars on all items., 2. Recognize and correctly make a variety of beverages, adhere to recipes, use pouring portions and prices, use proper glassware and proper wine service., 3. Establish accurate and proper cash handling procedures, using cash bank, cash register, and cash drop., 4. Communicate and promote co-worker and Guest relations, maintain professionalism while working with beverage team, Slot, Stewarding and Engineering Departments., 5. Knowledge of various all work related equipment such as Blender, Glasswasher, Beer Taps and pouring gun if available., 6. Utilize cleaning supplies including stainless steel cleaner, glass cleaner, disinfectants and all-purpose cleaners. Essential Functions: 1. Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Company-wide culture and demonstrating the Company’s Service Standards at all times., 2. Carry any necessary work cards at all times during shift., 3. Behave in a positive, professional manner that reflects the Company’s best practices., 4. Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards pursuant to the Company’s policies., 5. Know where the MSDS booklet is located for your area., 6. Display knowledge of all emergency procedures., 7. Handle any Team Member or Guest opportunities to the best possible outcome., 8. Follow set schedules and specific job duties., 9. Treat each Team Member with care, dignity, fairness, and respect in a Best Practice manner., 10. Display and encourage teamwork in the department., 11. Communicate on a consistent basis with all appropriate management. Keep them abreast of all department activities., 12. Adhere to all policies and procedures as set forth by the Director of Food and Beverage and the Food and Beverage Manager., 13. Attend any Team Member meetings and look at the communication boards for pertinent information. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Must manage time effectively with minimum supervision., 2. Ability to communicate effectively with Guest(s), co-workers and management, in English, both in written and verbal form., 3. Ability to make quick judgment decisions., 4. Requires adherence to all company and department policies and procedures as well as all the Company’s Practices., 5. Must be able to handle a flexible schedule., 6. Ability to work with the desired level of detailed service and attentiveness., 7. Excellent organizational skills., 8. Must possess strong teamwork skills as well as to act independently in high-energy, diverse environment. 12. Always keep all current required work cards on your person during your shift RELATED DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Working closely with beverage team, slots, security, and food and gaming departments., 2. Prior experience in this position is preferred but not required, 3. Speaking, visualizing and listening to Guests are an extremely important part of the Bartender’s service job description. WORK CONDITIONS: Can be indoor and/or outdoor beverage service. Work is typically in an area, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and smoky. Indoor and/or outdoor beverage service. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3-ft. access. Tasks performed from a non-sitting position. Team members will be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull and grasp. These tasks include the maintenance and care of an assigned area. Work entails chemical usage. Constant contact with staff and customer. Shift assignments may be irregular, and will cover days, nights, weekends and holidays.
